“Adam Copeland (fka Edge) Wins First Singles Match In 427 Days Against Current World Champion On AEW Dynamite.”
4 sources: allelitewrestling.com, cagematch.net, dazn.com, yahoo.com. Copeland’s October 14, 2026 singles win was against Josh Alexander—not a current world champion—and it was not his first singles match in 427 days. AEW’s results identify Alexander as Copeland’s opponent in a Clockwork Carnage qualifier, which Copeland won. A match record also lists a previous singles match, against Minoru Suzuki on April 29, 2026, so the 427-day claim is incorrect.
