“Live total's parked at seven with four-thirty to play, and the sharp side is the under — Vegas is a dead team skating, and empty-net goals don't come from squads that already quit.”
4 sources: espn.co.uk, espn.com, espn.com.au, nhl.com. The referenced Vegas–Columbus game ended 2–1 in overtime, with the winning goal scored 59 seconds into OT; it was not tied at seven goals with 4:30 left. Official Vegas and ESPN recaps report a 2–1 overtime loss for Vegas, not a seven-goal live total. The claims that Vegas had quit and that the under was the sharp side are subjective betting judgments, not established facts.
