“VICE's Oct 14, 2026 account of a Bloomberg Businessweek interview describes Rockstar building Jason/Lucia's relationship into open-world exploration (texting to meet up, a gym scene, a traffic collision escalating into a 2-hour mission delay per Phil Hooker).”
5 sources: gtavice.net, leonidahub.org, notebookcheck.net, vice.com, vicecityhustle.com. Bloomberg’s Oct. 14 feature supports the details: Jason can text Lucia to meet, they can go to the gym together, and Rockstar describes their interactions as part of its immersive open-world systems. It also says Phil Hooker’s encounters after a collision kept him from reaching his story mission for two hours; VICE’s account matches those points.
